Our Offer

The Primary Care Center in Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

Vårdcentralen Lambohov currently has about 11,700 registered patients. We offer you as a new nurse/community nurse a tailored introduction based on your needs. With an assigned mentor, we want to create security for you who are new in your nursing role or for you who are new to primary care.

Job Description

As a nurse/community nurse, your main tasks will be telephone counseling and independent work at the nursing reception. You will have varied tasks and collaborate closely with other professional groups. We view continued professional development positively, and there are opportunities for personal development within your own area of responsibility.

Work Group

We are about 45 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. Currently, 6 nurses and 4 community nurses work at the workplace.

At the health center, there are medical consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nursing consultations, child health care, psychosocial competence, dietitian consultations, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for several nursing homes.

About You

You are a licensed nurse or community nurse, preferably with experience in primary care. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level.

You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant demeanor towards patients and colleagues. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We are looking for someone who easily adapts to changing circumstances, is stress-resistant, and communicates in a clear and unpretentious manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
