550 residents as a full-time ST physician when you are in the middle of your ST and as a newly qualified specialist physician 1100 residents.

In order to create equitable care throughout the county, there is a salary supplement and the opportunity to travel during working hours.

Our Offer

The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, four emergency centers, the Finspång Health Center, the child health care unit, the vaccination clinic, 1177, and the general medicine training center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The ST training in general medicine in Region Östergötland is organized by the General Medicine Training Center (AMC), where study directors and educational secretaries coordinate side trainings, arrange courses and training, and participate in the design of the ST physician's training plan. Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job. We believe you are looking for primary care because you are interested in the breadth of the specialty area of general medicine and can envision a future in primary care. As an ST physician with us, you will receive regular supervision and, in addition to participating in ST meetings, have the opportunity to participate in training together with other junior doctors, AT doctors, and ST doctors at the health center.

The Vadstena Health Center is a smaller health center, under strong development! We have newly hired permanent district physicians and work for a good work environment and strong community, where all employees are important and part of our team. We welcome all new employees and want to be a positive part of the everyday life of the residents of Vadstena. Vadstena is beautifully located by Lake Vättern and has an old-fashioned style with narrow alleys and old houses that characterize the city center. There is plenty of culture, as well as sports activities and outdoor life. In Vadstena, the whole family thrives, and there are also good commuting opportunities to and from nearby towns, by both train and bus.

About You

You are a licensed physician and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level C1, as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently. If you have not completed AT or have approved Basic Competence according to BT, there is the possibility to do BT during the first year of employment.

You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
