The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work with something that really matters? With us, you will have an important role in providing support, security, and quality of life to people in various life situations. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a professional and caring organization.

As a nursing assistant in a weekend position, you will provide care and social support to individuals in need. You will work based on individual implementation plans and be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on measures that promote the user's independence, security, and well-being. A weekend position means that you work only on weekends according to a fixed schedule. The position includes work from Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday, with an extra shift every three weeks.

Your responsibilities include:

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Health and medical tasks after delegation
• Documentation in digital systems
• Support for relatives and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals

The work can take place in various types of operations, both in special housing for the elderly and short-term housing for the elderly. The work is scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a nursing assistant, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and respectful interaction. You enjoy collaborating but are also confident in working independently. Your engagement and sensitivity to other people's needs are crucial for success in the role.

We also see that you have:

• Approved nursing assistant education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• A driving license (B) or cycling experience may be required depending on the operation.

Experience in elderly care is an advantage.
