Job Responsibilities

At Transfusion Medicine, we work with donor recruitment, blood donation, component production, and blood group serological analyses and examinations. The operation runs around the clock every day of the year, with staff from Clinical Chemistry on duty at night. You will start working during the day, but the position will involve evening and weekend work.

You will have an independent and developing job here with us, while working in a closely-knit team!

About the Workplace

Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Halland is part of Medical Diagnostics Halland. We operate at hospitals in Halmstad, Varberg, Kungsbacka, and Falkenberg. Our operations are constantly evolving and are conducted in modern facilities. We are an accredited operation, which places high demands on competence, documentation, and quality systems.

At Transfusion Medicine Halland, we receive approximately 12,000 blood donors annually (Halmstad, Varberg, Falkenberg), produce blood components, and perform about 60,000 blood group serological analyses.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst or in the final stages of your education. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

You have a strong understanding of customer needs and an interest in continuously developing and improving the quality of our work. You work in a structured and responsible manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment during certain periods. It is important to us that you feel responsible for what you work with.
