Responsibilities

As a dental nurse with us, you will be part of a happy and engaged staff group with varied backgrounds and experiences. It is important to us that the entire clinic feels like a team where everyone is equally important and where we support and help each other in daily work. You will work together with dentists and other nurses, in teams and individually, with the patient's best interests in focus. The work includes tasks such as assistance and/or prophylaxis. We also welcome and encourage your own areas of interest.

As a new employee, you will undergo an introduction program and receive good support from your colleagues. Public Dental Service's common days for new employees and training in the journal system are included in the introduction.

About us

The dental clinics in the Varberg area consist of Breared, Tvååker, and Västra Vall. We have a close collaboration regarding staffing and patients and share common denominators such as a business manager, planning days, and personnel as needed.

You will be employed at Västra Vall, which is the large clinic in Varberg with 13 treatment rooms. Currently, we have six dentists and three dental hygienists.

It is easy to commute to Varberg by train, and then it is a walking distance to the clinic, about 10 minutes. Region Halland offers discounted bus passes with Hallandstrafiken and favorable leasing options for cars or electric bikes for those interested.

As a dental nurse with us, you will meet a cheerful group with good cohesion. We work closely together in teams where everyone must take great responsibility for the clinic to function in the best way for us and our patients. We also care about helping and supporting each other.

At the clinic, we perform examinations, subsequent treatments such as fillings, caries investigations, root treatments, prosthetics, and surgery, including implant installations. We have scanners for digital impressions, digital chat for patients, and access to OPG in orthodontics located on the same floor.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a trained dental nurse. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage. The position requires that you have good IT skills and experience with computer systems such as the journal systems Cosmic and Carita. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position.

You focus on the patient and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have the ability to understand and work from a holistic perspective for the clinic's best. You are interested in systematic improvements and contribute to knowledge exchange. Driving ideas and seeking new ways of working is something that engages you. We value qualities such as commitment, teamwork skills, and being service-oriented. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
