Job Responsibilities

We offer an interesting, varied, and responsible job where you as a junior doctor have the opportunity to work alongside many different categories of staff.

Typical tasks as a junior doctor at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) clinic. You will receive regular clinical supervision from a specialist. As a doctor at the BUP clinic, you are part of the medical team within BUP Halland. The position includes some on-call work within our inpatient department located in Halmstad.

We offer two positions. One based in Varberg and one in Halmstad. The employment is a fixed-term contract for six months with the possibility of extension.

About the Workplace

BUP is tasked with providing assessment and treatment to children and adolescents aged 0-17 years with psychiatric conditions and needs for specialist interventions. Both at the clinic in Halmstad and in Varberg, we work cross-professionally with employees who have high competence and experience in the field.

Currently, several specialists in child and adolescent psychiatry and several resident doctors work at the clinics. The clinics are characterized by a clear patient focus and a good collaborative climate.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a junior doctor before or after your internship. If you have previous experience working within BUP or have experience from other related specialties, it is a plus, but not a requirement.
