Job Responsibilities

Here you will work variably with pediatric dentistry, adult dentistry, and geriatric dentistry. You will perform examinations and diagnostics within the dental hygienist's area of responsibility, work health-promoting, and motivate for self-care and good habits. You are an important and active part of the team around the patient who has extensive care needs and use motivational interviewing in caries investigations and periodontal flow, for which we have developed routines. Personal development is something we want to promote, and we see a benefit in having varied job tasks.

About the Workplace

Welcome to us at Breared, Tvååker, and Västra Vall. As a dental hygienist with us, you will be part of a staff group consisting of nearly 50 employees across the operational area, with varying backgrounds and experiences. We have a working method where we work together, take the time to help and support each other, and where laughter is close at hand.

The dental clinics in Varberg collaborate on both staffing and patients. Our focus every day is to provide good dental care to our patients. We conduct examinations, follow-up treatments such as fillings, caries investigations, root treatments, prosthetics, and surgeries, including implant installations. We have scanners for digital impressions, digital chat for patients, and access to OPG at the orthodontics at Västra Vall and in Breared.

A large part of achieving more time and value in patient meetings is based on having good cooperation between our clinics and a good community among us. The clinics in the Varberg area consist of Breared, Tvååker, and Västra Vall, where Tvååker has 3 treatment rooms, Breared has 5, and Västra Vall has 13 treatment rooms. All three clinics are located in the same building as the health center. You can easily commute to Varberg by train, and there are good bus connections to Tvååker and Breared. Region Halland also offers favorable leasing options for cars or electric bicycles for those interested.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed dental hygienist. If you have previous experience in the profession, we see it as an advantage. Here you work independently and become an important part of the team around the patient.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and creates good relationships. You are a skilled clinician and meet all people with understanding, respect, and care, as well as with a good sense of service. You appreciate varied work where you can take responsibility and initiative. You have the ability to understand and work from a holistic perspective for the clinic's best. You are interested in systematic improvements and contribute to knowledge exchange. Driving ideas and seeking new working methods is something that engages you.

The position requires that you have good IT skills and master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We see it as advantageous if you have additional language skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
