Workshop Manager at Tenö Shipyard

As a workshop manager at Tenö Shipyard, you will play a central role in a completely new function where you become the vital link between administration and production. Your role is primarily to serve as our administrative backbone in the group. The position includes working with:

• Technical and administrative support to the engine manager
• Planning, monitoring, and closing projects at the shipyard
• Acting as a link between the office and production
• Ensuring that authorizations and certifications are maintained
• Managing and following up warranty cases
• Creating, reviewing, and administering invoice documentation
• Maintaining contact with both customers and staff

Although the role involves a lot of administration, you are also present in the operations. You follow the vessels through the entire process from arrival, through the work on board, to ensuring that all documentation is compiled and ready for delivery. It is a varied role with a strong emphasis on structure and orderliness, where technology meets administration, and where you gain a deep understanding of how the projects are actually carried out.

Since the role is new, there are great opportunities to shape the working methods and build routines together with the team. You will be part of a new resource planning group consisting of three people: a representative from the engine group, a project leader (PL), and yourself. Together, you will create structure, priorities, and flow in the shipyard's daily operations.

We are looking for someone with a technical background who is used to combining practical work with administration. You need to have an understanding of engines and drivetrains while being comfortable working in systems, managing documentation, and keeping order in several parallel processes.

You have experience in:

• Industry, automotive, heavy workshop, or similar environment
• Engines and drivetrains
• Administrative work
• Systems and the Office suite, especially Excel

You also need to have a B driver's license and be proficient in Swedish and English.

We are looking for a person who creates structure, takes responsibility, and keeps their tasks organized in a careful and reliable manner. You have the ability to find solutions when challenges arise, and you communicate clearly with both colleagues and customers. The role suits you if you work independently and enjoy switching between practical tasks and administrative duties that are essential for our projects to function efficiently and safely.
