Octapharma is a biotechnology pharmaceutical company with large-scale manufacturing in northwestern Kungsholmen - with a vision to improve people's health and lives.

As a Qualification Engineer, you will belong to and help develop the newly established Qualification section. The section is part of the Engineering department, which is an important part of Octapharma as it is the company's core competence for technical solutions and assists production with ongoing problem-solving. The section is responsible for the technical qualification of equipment, systems, and utilities (media), (IQ/OQ/PQ media).

As a qualification engineer, you have an important role with us. Your responsibilities include, for example:

• Participate in or lead projects and activities as qualification/QPL leader and/or as an executor of qualifications

• Contribute to the development of standards/instructions and templates for the qualification process within your area of responsibility

• Assist in preparing documentation for authorities

• Participate in inspections

• Contribute to improvement work and optimization of processes and working methods within the section
  

Who are you?
The right candidate for this role has:

• Several years of experience in qualification management within the area of responsibility (technical IQOQ including process functionality, control systems, and PQ media)

• A higher education degree with a technical focus (e.g., chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology)

• Experience working according to GMP

• It is an advantage if you have experience working in the process industry

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You drive your tasks efficiently and forward, have a good ability to prioritize your work, and appreciate good collaboration with your colleagues. You are positive and driven by achieving results together with others in a non-prestigious climate. You have good social skills and communication abilities, which allows you to create engagement within the section and department.

About Qualification within the Technical Unit

• The Technical Unit is organized into the departments of Engineering, Maintenance, Facility & Utilities, Automation & Metrology, where the Qualification section is part of Engineering

• The Technical Unit is responsible for ensuring that the production facility, buildings, and other equipment are in place and functioning

• The function is crucial for the business to operate sustainably

• We continuously invest in the site, which leads to modernization and expansion

• Qualification currently consists of 6 positions, and you will report to the head of the section
