Within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry in Malmö, there are two care departments and an emergency department, as well as an emergency reception that is region-wide, targeting children and adolescents up to 18 years old. The field also includes FACT, the regional teams Bup trauma, the team for psychosis and bipolar disorders, and the gender identity reception. Child and adolescent psychiatry (Bup) is in an exciting phase of development with new investments in inpatient care for children and adolescents.
Ward 2 offers highly specialized care for children and young people in need of treatment for eating disorders, where the psychiatric condition needs to be stabilized. Often, there is comorbidity with other child psychiatric conditions such as mood disorders, self-harming behavior, suicidality, and post-traumatic difficulties. The ward's mission is to raise the patient's level of functioning so that they can benefit from continued outpatient care. We use evidence-based treatment methods in accordance with national care and intervention programs. At the unit, we work based on standardized care processes (SVP).
At the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Ward 2, we offer 8+2 (BI) care places and work cross-professionally with the child and family at the center. Through early collaboration with external actors such as healthcare neighbors, social services, and schools, we aim to ensure a patient-centered focus. Our goal is that the patient should never need to be cared for in inpatient care longer than the condition requires.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include standard secretarial tasks such as writing medical records, administrative handling of involuntary care, referral management, and work with registrations. Other administrative tasks include APT protocols, administering access rights to employees, raindance, IT orders, 1177, and attendance registration, among others.

The role of the medical secretary is changing, and Region Skåne is facing the introduction of the comprehensive digital platform Skånes Digitala Vårdsystem (SDV), which will replace several of today's medical record systems. We are open and humble about the continued development this entails and would like you to contribute your skills and qualities to the change work.
To help you as a new employee settle in and adapt to the work, we offer an introduction based on your previous experiences. The position is scheduled for weekdays, and we offer flexible agreements. Work may occur a couple of days during major holidays each year to ensure quality registration.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with an approved education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80 credits (KY) / 400 credits (YH) or equivalent medical secretary training. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and good skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have worked in or have an interest in psychiatric care. Knowledge of relevant IT systems such as Melior, PASIS/VÅPS, Qlik-View, or Excel is also a merit.

Assistive devices are responsible for managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. The administration also includes vision, hearing, and deaf services and youth clinics in Skåne.
