About the role As a group manager, your primary task is to coach and work in the daily care work together with the team. This means you are a role model for your employees and through your strong commitment, you create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You will work during the day, weekends, and evenings.
- Close leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have several group manager colleagues and you collaborate, brainstorm, and exchange experiences.
- Participation: As a group manager, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.
About Ametisten Ametisten is a modern nursing home in Solna for people with dementia and somatic illnesses. We offer individually tailored care with heart, integrity, and choice. Ametisten has an activity profile with history, literature, film, and theater. We collaborate with, among others, the local heritage association, the film city, and the library in Solna. Young people from Ung Omsorg visit the residence to add an extra touch to life.
We are a contract business and our clients are Solna Municipality.
- Activity Manager: We work systematically with activities and have an activity manager who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
- Dementia certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and response through Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/). You will also undergo this training.
- Needs-based desired schedule: We apply a needs-based desired schedule. This means that you and your employees have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and wishes. We create schedules for 10 weeks at a time.
- Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/ung-omsorg-pa-vara-boenden/). This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg engages in various activities with us who work here, to enhance the quality of life for the residents.
- Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals.
Your experience and knowledge You are a trained nursing assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is an advantage for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
