We are looking for:

A licensed preschool teacher for a temporary position from January 26 to January 27, as our current preschool teacher is on leave for studies.

We are looking for someone who has both knowledge and practical experience working with multilingual children and creating enriching language environments. Experience in structure, organization, and clear pedagogical methods is a requirement.

You are an engaged and professional preschool teacher with several years of experience, who wants to help create a program based on the children's interests and needs. Your view of children is the most important piece for us; care and learning should be intertwined, and your approach should reflect this, as well as seeing and providing each child with the conditions to develop.

We are a smaller team, so collaboration is essential for maintaining a good working environment. Everyone's different competencies are needed to contribute to the unit's development and forward momentum, and you as a preschool teacher will lead the team. Structure and organization are important for both children and adults, and this is something we value.

If you have an interest in creative work and/or health-promoting activities, you are welcome to develop this work. Between 2024-2026, we will focus on creating a health-promoting education, which includes deepening in motor skills, physical/mental health, and special education.

As a preschool teacher with us, you have great freedom to contribute to shaping our operations since we are a smaller unit with short decision-making paths.

About us:

Preschool Ekorrbacken is located in Vällingby with space for 19 children, divided into two smaller groups. We are located near Vällingby center with access to Grimsta Nature Reserve, a library, and public transport. We also have our own yard.

A language-conscious approach is a significant part of our operations as many of our children are multilingual. We work with clear pedagogical methods to create accessibility and give all children the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging. Our smaller preschool provides good conditions to see all children and create teaching based on their needs and interests.
