At the endoscopy clinic, we perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and place PEGs, and we have both outpatient and emergency visits. In the spring of 2026, we will move to our newly renovated outpatient facilities.

The surgical area is a regional operation, which means close cooperation between the three hospitals in the region. The area has a regional assignment for emergency and planned surgical procedures, and we also provide some highly specialized care for out-of-region patients. Here, there are 350 employees across various units such as outpatient care, wards, surgery, and secretariat. Planned healthcare is increasingly located in Karlskoga and Lindesberg, and similarly, tumor and trauma services are located in Örebro. Within the area, active development work is conducted with a patient focus throughout the care process. Karlskoga Hospital is one of Region Örebro County's three emergency hospitals. We who work at Karlskoga Hospital are proud of our hospital. The tasks at the clinic include several different moments, such as participating in examinations, monitoring during and after the examination, and administering medications during the examinations. Appointment scheduling and telephone advice are also part of our work.

We see that you are open to changes and have the ability to work under varying workloads. We highly value personal suitability. Experience from outpatient work and endoscopy is advantageous but not a requirement.
