Registered Nurse Wanted in Nora Municipality

You will have the opportunity to choose between two important assignments – at our dementia care home Hagby Ängar, where you help create a warm and dignified environment for our residents, or in our evening and night organization, where you are a safe point for patients during the most vulnerable hours of the day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Standard tasks within municipal health and medical care. The work includes, among other things:

• Ensuring that medical prescriptions are carried out
• Leading and distributing nursing work
• Performing planned and acute assessments and interventions.
• Supervising/training nursing staff and students.
• Collaborating with the immediate team around the patient as well as with external contacts/other healthcare providers.
• Ongoing contact with relatives.
• Medication management, medical technical tasks.
• Documentation is done in the Viva journal system.
• Other systems we use daily are MCSS, Pascal, LifeCare, and NPÖ

QUALIFICATIONS

With us, you have an important role as you meet our most vulnerable patients, people who often find themselves in exposed and difficult situations. Your skills and commitment make a real difference for their safety and quality of life.

We prefer that you have a few years of experience as a nurse, preferably within municipal health and medical care and palliative care. If you have further education as a district nurse or in elderly and dementia care, it is a big plus.

You are confident in yourself and your professional role, used to working independently and making your own decisions but also open to asking for support when needed. You value collaboration and see teamwork as a given to create good and safe care.

You are flexible, see opportunities in changes, and actively contribute to the quality work of the organization. A driver's license is a requirement for the position. You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.
