We are now looking for a scope nurse to join our endoscopy team.

Our workgroup consists of a competent team of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. The atmosphere is positive and we have a strong community where everyone is an important part of the team. With us, the patient is in focus and a genuine interest in continuous improvements is a given! To drive development forward in the field, research and education are a natural part of our operations. We also have a close collaboration with the Gastroenterology and Liver Clinic.

Currently, we have one scope nurse in the region, and two nurses who will start their training in the spring. We want to expand so that we have two scope nurses at each hospital in the region.

The medical area is one of the university hospital's largest and is organizationally divided into five sections: endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Here, patients are cared for with conditions such as diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood disorders, kidney diseases, and patients who need acute internal medical care, often elderly and multi-sick patients. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three wards for admitted patients.

As a scope nurse, you will work with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic examinations of the gastrointestinal tract. You will have an independent and responsible role where you perform examinations, assess results, and provide patients with safe and professional care. The work includes referral assessment and handling of pathology results. The work is done in close collaboration with doctors and other colleagues in a well-functioning team. You are expected to participate in and drive education forward in the unit.

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in endoscopy who has completed commissioned training for nurses in endoscopy. You have a knack for creating good meetings and a desire to drive the operation forward with the patient in focus together with your colleagues. You are flexible and enjoy development work. As a person, you are stable and have good communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements: Licensed nurse, completed commissioned training in endoscopy.

Meritorious: Experience as a scope nurse.
