Your Mission

As an operations controller, you belong to the office for economic and procurement support within the department for operational support. The department's task is to ensure that everything functions around the core operations and provide it with the conditions it needs. You report directly to the agency's CFO.

Together with your colleagues, you work on cross-agency issues. You have a central role in developing the agency's operational plan, follow-up, budget basis, and annual report. Under the leadership of the CFO, and together with both operational and financial controllers, you participate in the development work to ensure effective processes for financial management and operational planning. In your role, you lead your own processes and participate in processes and working groups that concern the entire agency.

You work in a complex and information-intensive environment where you gain a holistic perspective on the agency's operations that you should be able to translate into your work. Furthermore, you will sometimes work with parallel processes under high time pressure. You will have many contacts, both within the agency and with the agency's management as well as externally with the government offices and other authorities.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in economics, political science, or similar, or equivalent knowledge from work experience according to the employer
• At least 3 years of work experience in similar tasks
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

We consider it an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Similar tasks within the state or other public sector
• Operational management within the defense area or security and intelligence area
• Analysis and preparation of decision-making materials
• Presentation of materials for management groups or equivalent
• Portfolio management, e.g., according to the SAFe model
• FRA's internal processes and routines

• Independence – You have the courage to act according to your own convictions.

• Language analytical ability – You understand complicated linguistic materials, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you produce your own documents of high quality.

More Information

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime. We apply a six-month probationary period.
