Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services for individuals and families in the municipality. Our activities are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act and are to implement interventions regulated by these laws. All activities are permeated by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

The joint staffing and scheduling consists of three units: Scheduling and Planning, Substitute and Recruitment, and Resources and Administration, which are responsible for providing support to a large part of the Social Services.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nursing assistant in the Short-term Pool night, you will work across the entire execution operations within elderly care. Your tasks are to work together with other staff to provide good care and support based on our users' needs and to continuously document this in our journal systems. The tasks involve performing health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse and working with safe and secure care.

We work with the individual's needs at the center, based on a rehabilitative approach to maintain and strengthen our users' abilities. We do this through a cross-professional collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

You will work at the workplace that for the night has regular staff who have planned or unplanned absences, or when the workload is higher for a shorter period. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy a varied job and have the ability to adapt to different situations. As an employee in the short-term pool, there are expectations when you come out into the operations. You therefore need to be secure in your professional role and have a good ability to adapt to different workgroups and routines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Competencies:

• We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, is secure in their role, and enjoys variation.
• You must have a driver's license to work with us.
• A prerequisite for performing the work with good quality is that you are used to and comfortable working with digital tools.

Personal Competencies:

• You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and of people's different conditions. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
• You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You have the interest, will, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
• You are stable and secure in yourself, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and adversity. You keep a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
