Within Social Psychiatry, there are two service residences and support housing. We are now looking for a colleague for our support housing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a developing organization where you can make a difference for people!

Support housing is an assessed assistance and is a support in the user's home or local environment. Our task is to support and motivate our users with mental disabilities to achieve a meaningful, safe, and active daily life. The support is individualized and governed by an implementation plan that we create together with the user. The support may consist of helping to get started with daily chores, establishing a structure in daily life, or providing social training. The user performs the tasks themselves with the support of the support staff, and the goal is to eventually be able to manage their daily life independently and live a more self-sufficient life.

Your role is to work supportively and motivatingly with the user so that they can handle their daily life as independently as possible. This is done using clear pedagogical methods tailored to each individual.

The work involves significant responsibility where you meet and interact with our users. The work also includes documenting and following implementation plans, which we currently manage entirely digitally on mobile devices.

The position means that you will serve in the social psychiatry support housing based in central Falkenberg.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a psychiatric focus and/or other relevant post-secondary education. Experience working in mental health is a requirement.

Experience with methods such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Low Arousal Approach, Care and Support Coordination (VOSS), among others, is meritorious. Experience working digitally using mobile planning tools and writing implementation plans using a tablet is also meritorious.

This is a job for you who enjoy challenges and see opportunities in every individual. Additionally, experience in support housing is highly meritorious. We are looking for someone who is responsible, creative, and responsive to the needs of the users. You should be patient and reflective, have a good approach towards users, colleagues, and partners. We seek someone with good collaboration skills, a high service mindset, and flexibility. The work requires good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as being flexible, responsible, attentive, and able to work both independently and in a team since you will be part of a work team.

A requirement is that you possess basic emotional stability and are secure in yourself. Great importance will also be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare will be required to use the title of nursing assistant within healthcare and social services.
