Are you a Civil Engineer with an interest in strength and structural analysis?

We are now looking for a calculation engineer for a global technology company where you will work with advanced analyses and contribute to the development of future energy solutions.

About the role

As a calculation engineer, you will calculate, analyze, and assess various types of turbine components. You will be part of a team of around 25 people and belong to the strength discipline. You will perform strength and lifting analyses according to the FEM method to investigate the condition of the material and when it fails. You will work closely with other teams to gather your data and play an important role in the development and improvement of methods and processes within lifetime calculations.

About you

To succeed in the role of calculation engineer, we believe you are a civil engineer in mechanical engineering or technical physics. You can perform structural analyses and have a good understanding of calculation principles. As a person, you are unpretentious with a strong technical interest and collaborative. You are analytical and eager to learn more in the field.

Requirements for the position:

  • Civil engineer in mechanical engineering or technical physics
  • Good understanding of structural analyses and calculation principles
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Meritorious for the position:

  • Good knowledge of materials technology
  • Knowledge of calculation tools such as ABAQUS, HyperWorks, and NASGRO
