Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Your Role

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a key person in the design and industrialization of turbine solutions. You will work on everything from concepts and prototypes to full-scale production – focusing on performance, sustainability, and cost-effective manufacturing.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models, CAD designs, and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure performance and manufacturability.
• Optimize designs for strength and durability.
• Prepare designs for prototype, testing, and production.
• Participate in design reviews and improve designs based on test results.

We Believe You Have:

• A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or equivalent education in industrial design or product development.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Experience with rotating mechanical systems (gearboxes, shafts, bearings, etc.).
• Good understanding of strength analysis, thermal performance, and materials science.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable Experience:

• Have followed a product from concept to industrialization.
• Experience in hydropower, renewable energy, or marine systems.
• Have worked with turbines or rotating parts.
• Share the client's passion for sustainable energy and want to contribute to the mission.
