Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mechanical Integrity Engineer for the mechanical integrity team within the turbine business. In this role, you will be an important part of our development projects by analyzing and assessing the lifetime characteristics of Siemens components. You will primarily work from the office in Finspång, with the possibility of remote work as needed. Your responsibilities

• Perform stress and lifetime analyses using finite element methods and other numerical models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure accurate calculations.
• Support development projects by planning and conducting relevant lifetime assessments.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of methods and processes within lifetime analysis.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has...

• A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in structural analysis with a good understanding of underlying principles and methods.
• Good knowledge of software such as ABAQUS, HyperWorks, and NASGRO.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• A collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.
