Your Role

As an ultrasound inspector in our composites department, you will work with your team to ensure the highest quality of our products. You will perform inspections of items for Gripen & Beyond Gravity using technologies such as ultrasound and X-ray. The position will largely involve reviewing materials where conclusions are drawn from different color combinations and reviewing test results against established criteria.

In addition to being an important part of ensuring the quality of our products, you and your team will also play a crucial role in our continuous improvement efforts. The role will also require close and unpretentious collaboration with nearby departments and support functions.

The work is conducted during the day and the workplace will be in Tannefors, Linköping.

Your Profile

We prefer that you have previous experience in production or composites but also welcome those who are interested in quality and want to try something new! You have a complete high school education, preferably with a focus on industry or technology. You have very good computer skills and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and ensures that you maintain good quality in your work. You are a team player and as a person, you are both curious and enjoy learning new things. You also find it easy to build relationships in your workplace. You can take initiative and work both independently and closely with colleagues.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
