Planning and Maintenance Coordinator at SAAB

About the Role

Here you will combine planning, communication, and technical interest in an environment where accuracy and responsibility are crucial – but where the team is always more important than the individual. As a Planning and Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and following up on maintenance work on SAAB's aircraft together with your immediate team. This involves keeping track of what is happening here and now, as well as planning ahead so that everything is ready when the aircraft undergo service. In your daily work, you will ensure that the work on the aircraft is done according to plan, that the right materials are in place, and that the systems are updated. You will have close contact with technicians, the workshop, the planning function, and the technical manager – ensuring that everyone has the information they need.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily contact with your team to collaborate on maintenance and service.
• Act as the spider in the web and plan maintenance, including documentation, materials, and logistics.
• Document completed work and planned actions in the system.
• Communicate information to the team about upcoming tasks and needs.
• Communicate with other teams and departments to plan upcoming modifications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience in a coordinating role within maintenance and planning, document management, and use of planning tools. For example, technical writer, quality leader, production planner, aircraft technician, helicopter technician, or similar.
• And/or post-secondary education deemed equivalent, such as industrial economics, aircraft technician education, technical logistics, mechanical engineering, or similar.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Swedish citizenship.
• Interest in aircraft.

Meritorious

• Strongly meritorious if you have worked with maintenance work.
• Experience from the armed forces.
• Knowledge of Fenix.
