Leader for Åtvidaberg Municipality's Planning Group.

About the assignment.
Come and shape the future of Åtvidaberg with us. A lot is happening in our municipality right now, and we need to be really strong in Community Planning, which is why we are looking for someone who wants to help build the future of Åtvidaberg.

Your role in this work is to lead, distribute, and prioritize the planning group's daily work. You will work strategically to develop the work by introducing efficient and modern work processes. At the same time, you will also work operationally with your own planning projects and their components.
You will have the support of two planning architects and a comprehensive planner, as well as support and close collaboration with others working in community planning, primarily the unit manager and specialists in nature conservation, GIS/MBK, and MEX.

The position as group leader offers great freedom to shape both your role and the group's work processes. If you are interested in and want to engage in tasks that normally fall under a city architect, this opportunity is also available.
As a group leader, you will also be involved in various internal and external contacts and dialogues regarding detailed planning issues and projects.

Examples of the planning group's tasks include:
- Physical planning, - establishing and processing detailed plans, planning programs, including work on renewal and change of existing areas/plans.
- Responsible for and driving entire planning processes from feasibility study through consultation and review, etc., to the completion of the municipality's detailed plans.
- Preparation of documents in collaboration with consultants and developers.
- Assist and support the work with comprehensive plans.
- Citizen contacts – for example, handling feedback, answering questions, and citizen dialogue.
- 3D visualization of new construction projects.

About you.
We want you to have an education and degree, at least a bachelor's degree, with a focus on physical planning or equivalent. You should also have several years of experience working with detailed plans. You have built up a broad competence, for example, in applicable legislation, on systems such as Focus detailed plan, Adobe programs, and SketchUp, in developing work methods, and in communicating very well in speech, image, and writing.

As a person, you enjoy taking responsibility and leading an operation as a mentor for younger colleagues, as well as having a varied workday where joy, engagement, and development characterize your existence.
