We are now looking for Mechanical Designers for several of our clients in various cities in Östergötland and Jönköping, ranging from smaller tech companies to large industrial firms. We have several open roles with varying focus areas, which means you can find the right challenge regardless of whether you are at the beginning of your career or have extensive experience. At our clients, there is the opportunity to delve into different specializations, such as CFD and thermodynamics, strength and structural analysis, or cabling and electronics.

As a mechanical designer, you will work on technology-intensive projects together with colleagues in areas such as electronics, systems, software, and production. You will contribute throughout the entire development chain, from idea and concept phase to finished product, and work closely with both operations and production.

Responsibilities may include:

• Creating detailed designs in CAD and PLM environments
• Performing calculations, simulations, and analyses within your area of expertise
• Implementing product improvements and design changes
• Contributing to method, product, and process development
• Producing technical documentation and materials for manufacturing, testing, and verification
• Supporting internal and external projects with technical assessments and solution proposals

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Has experience in mechanical design from studies, work, and/or hobby projects
• Is skilled in CAD software
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English

All roles are consultancy assignments, which means you will be employed by Friday. For some of the roles, it is required that you undergo and pass a security clearance, which may involve citizenship requirements.
