Your Role

Seize the opportunity to lead the close-knit team within the Geodata Production sub-project under Gripen in the role of project manager. We want to strengthen our sub-project with a responsible project leader. The Geodata project is responsible for the entire geodata supply chain within Gripen and develops both GIS tools and methods for supplying geographic data.

You will learn how geodata productions are developed, tested, and distributed; both in the form of geographic data to aircraft, to 3D environments for Gripen's simulators, and to other interesting stakeholders. The role includes responsibility for time, technology, and finances, with support from your immediate manager. The task involves, for example, owning your development plan, creating good contact with stakeholders, and contributing to a positive work climate.

As a project manager, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a network with others in similar positions to share best practices and brainstorm ideas.

To get into the work smoothly, you will have a lot of contact with the project manager in a nearby sister project, your immediate manager, the technical lead, and the friendly colleagues in the project.

You will be offered the opportunity to undertake both internal and external training. You will also have the chance to lead studies in related areas.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical degree from a university or college. In this role, it is important that you are flexible and can easily switch between seeing the big picture and managing details in the project. We are looking for someone who is responsible, engaged, and communicative, and who enjoys collaborating with others. You have a good ability to prioritize and quickly create a clear picture of the order in which tasks should be performed to achieve the best results.

The following are meritorious:

• Practical experience in project management
• Experience with SCRUM and/or Agile methodology and development
• GIS
• Interest in software/system development
• Drive to design effective working methods and processes
