Business Architect Focused on IT Workplace

As an employee at the Swedish Courts Administration, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the entire Swedish Courts system, consisting of about 80 courts, authorities, and boards with approximately 7,000 employees. The Swedish Courts Administration employs around 400 people to develop and support the Swedish Courts, with the headquarters located centrally in Jönköping and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. Do you want to help shape the future IT workplace for the Swedish Courts? We are now looking for a business architect focusing on IT workplace, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and AI/cloud services. As a business architect, you will work broadly within the unit and shift between tactical and operational perspectives. You will work closely with both operations and digitalization to ensure that development initiatives are cohesive and that the business architecture supports our goals. What does the job entail?

The IT department at the Swedish Courts Administration has nearly 120 employees and is the heart of the digitalization of 82 courts. We work with modern technologies and agile methods to meet the IT needs of the Swedish Courts. Right now, we are in an exciting development phase focusing on digitalization, AI, cloud services, and new ways of working.

As a business architect with us, you will:

  • Map, analyze, and improve processes related to the IT workplace, IAM, and AI/cloud – focusing on meeting the needs of the courts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the IT workplace supports the entire organization in the best way. (The unit has a special responsibility to support the HR department in IT issues and architecture).
  • Switch between tactical and operational perspectives with a solution-oriented approach. You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of both operations and development.
  • Drive change by identifying and creating structures, models, processes, etc., that promote efficiency and innovation.
  • Both initiate and lead improvement work within the unit and collaborate with other departments.

The work is varied and offers good opportunities to grow and develop, both in depth and breadth.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree, for example in IT or system science, or other education combined with experience that the employer deems equivalent. Alternatively, you have equivalent knowledge acquired in another way.
  • Documented experience in business architecture, business development, or similar roles, preferably with a focus on IT.
  • Experience in process mapping, modeling, requirements specification, and collaboration in large organizations.
  • The ability to communicate and structure complex issues, as well as to work both tactically and operationally.
  • An open and curious attitude, with a willingness to take operational and tactical responsibility.
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have skills and experience in:

  • IT architecture within IAM, AI, cloud services, or IT workplace.
  • Agile methods and improvement work.
  • Working in larger organizations or similar complex environments.

The place of employment is Jönköping. A probationary period may be applied. Remote work can be agreed upon for up to two days a week. This will be determined in dialogue with the nearest manager.
