JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a coordinator within LSS, you have a key role in ensuring that everyday life runs smoothly and that the quality of the operations remains high. With us, you will be part of an engaged team working to provide people with disabilities a good life. We are looking for a Coordinator within LSS who has a broad perspective and the ability to consider both the workgroup's and the manager's viewpoints.

You will work with four group homes, two of which will open in 2026, making the role both exciting and developmental. You will be an important person alongside the unit manager in the process of opening the two new group homes located in Borrby.

Additionally, the work as a Coordinator LSS involves scheduling within a given area, following staffing requirements and working time regulations. Planning and filling vacancies in collaboration with the unit manager and staffing unit. Coordinating resources with other units and planning cross shifts while maintaining close dialogue with other coordinators within LSS. Scheduling training, meetings, union time, planning days, and administrative time.

You will be responsible for marking absences (sickness, parental leave, vacation, leave of absence) in the completed schedule. Making schedule changes in the finalized schedule and managing compensatory rest. Handling requests for shift changes and checking time regulations. Ensuring staffing in consultation with the unit manager.

You are expected to stay updated on scheduling and network with other schedulers.

The assignment will also include other tasks such as coordinating training and informing participants, booking venues, arranging catering, and sending materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have a high school diploma or vocational degree from the health and care program, child and leisure program, or other equivalent education.

Good computer skills and documentation experience.

Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Driver's license B.

Pedagogical, trustworthy, and professional approach.

Ability to see both the big picture and details.

Good ability to plan and coordinate personnel resources.

High service orientation and good collaboration skills.

Experience in scheduling.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Time Care and self-service as well as experience with LifeCare Planning. Also, at least one year of work experience in disability support/LSS.

As a person, you should be flexible and solution-oriented.

You need to be stress-resistant and structured as the work can be hectic at times.

As a person, you are service-oriented with a good attitude and great patience.

You need to be self-driven but also enjoy collaborating with others.
