Support Educator for LSS Housing

We are looking for someone to work as a support educator in one of our units within LSS housing.

About the Role and Responsibilities

In the role of support educator, you will work to improve and guide the pedagogical work. You will be responsible for planning and follow-up, where you, together with our support assistants and pedagogical coordinators, support our users in living the life they desire.

The role also includes performing and supporting the work group in social documentation, implementation plans, and other documentation, as well as following up and evaluating the interventions.

You will work as part of the team where regular work occurs while also being an extra support for employees. In the role of support educator, you have allocated time for pedagogical work, which may include guiding employees in challenging work situations, updating yourself on the latest studies on clear pedagogy, guiding in documentation, or collaborating with other support educators.

About Us

Our units within LSS housing consist of group and service apartments across 22 management areas, where we provide support in the users' daily lives.

The schedule is day/evening/weekend with a full-time measure of 36.33 hours/week. On-call duties may occur in some units.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Has post-secondary specialization in the area of disabilities that includes at least 200 YH points or 60 higher education credits or a combination that corresponds to at least two semesters of full-time studies.
• Has experience working with the target group and LSS operations.
• Has good knowledge and experience of clear pedagogy/TEACH.
• Has good knowledge and experience of low-arousal approaches.
• Can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Good knowledge of relevant documentation tools.
• Basic knowledge of digital work tools.

A driver's license is required for some units.
