Teracom is responsible for some of Sweden's most important and critical networks, including the terrestrial network for TV and radio, VMA (Important Message to the Public), and Rakel, Sweden's emergency services network. We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Security Specialist to join our SOC team. As a key person in our organization, you will work with advanced security monitoring, incident management, and in-depth forensic investigations.

The role of IT Security Specialist will include:
- Investigation of security incidents at multiple levels, from initial analysis to full incident response
- Conducting forensic investigations, collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence
- In-depth monitoring of networks, servers, and systems with a clear security focus
- Active threat hunting to identify hidden threats and suspicious activity
- Further development and optimization of our SOC and SIEM platform
- Continuity management and security audits
- Environmental monitoring and implementation of new security-related knowledge
- Support and guidance to the SOC's first line
- Working with logs, alerts, and security tools such as IDS/IPS, proxy, SIEM, and other analysis tools
- Contributing to the development of processes, routines, and tools for security monitoring and incident response
Experience & qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience in IT, including 1-2 years with documented experience in incident management.
- Experience in incident management, incident response, follow-up, and reporting.
- Experience conducting forensic analyses and handling digital evidence.
- Good understanding of log management, intrusion detection, and traffic monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of networks, Windows, and Linux.
- Experience with security products such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, proxy, threat hunting tools, and similar.
- Scripting for analysis and automation in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or bash.
- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Desirable:
- In-depth experience in network monitoring and network forensics.
- Knowledge of reverse engineering.
- Deeper log analysis and pattern recognition.
- Experience with machine learning related to security.
- Experience designing or further developing SOC processes.
