Network Technician in Arboga

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a network technician in Arboga. In this role, you will work on various projects with systems in secure communication and radio systems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about IT, has a genuine interest in technology, and knowledge of network technology.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a network technician, you will work on several projects with systems in secure communication and radio systems. We are looking for someone who has a knack for building relationships with clients, is proactive in their work approach, and is driven by solving problems. You will work in smaller teams with an open and pleasant atmosphere. At the beginning of your assignment, you will receive guidance from more senior colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Work with network architecture
• Manage layers of networks, routers, and firewalls
• Work with systems in secure communication and radio systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in network technology or another relevant field, or has equivalent work experience
• Has a strong technical interest and enjoys working with hardware
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish as daily communication primarily occurs in Swedish
• Has a B driver's license as travel is required in the position
• Holds Swedish citizenship, due to the position being classified in security class

It is advantageous if you have

• Previous work experience as a network technician
• Previous experience from the defense industry
• Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers, virtualization, and VPN
• Knowledge of Linux
