We are now looking for two OT Engineers for our production unit in Frövi.

Billerud Frövi is a world-leading manufacturer of packaging board and liquid board designed for users with very high demands for efficient, creative, and functional packaging solutions. We are looking for an engaged and experienced OT Engineer who wants to help ensure a stable, secure, and efficient OT infrastructure for future production.

You will be part of the Process Systems team within the Automation Section, where you, together with several other system engineers, will work to maintain and secure the technology that controls, monitors, and optimizes our processes and machinery in our board and pulp production.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement network and communication systems for the plant's OT infrastructure, including OPC, firewalls, servers, switches, control systems, and other critical systems.
• Maintain and monitor network and system performance to ensure high availability and efficient operation.
• Be responsible for cybersecurity within the OT infrastructure, including monitoring, incident management, and developing security solutions to prevent cyber attacks.
• Ensure that clear procedures and regulations are implemented, followed, and continuously improved.
• Monitor and manage system access, backup routines, and incidents to minimize risks and ensure operational continuity.
• Perform network and system diagnostics and implement measures to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop OT infrastructure and security standards.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of OT Engineer, you have:

• Relevant post-secondary education in automation, IT/OT security, or a similar field. Alternatively, work experience that Billerud deems equivalent.
• Experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining OT infrastructures, including network and communication systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious experiences/skills:

• Certifications in network technology and cybersecurity.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity and maintenance of process and control systems in the industry.
• Good knowledge of Office suite, WSUs, VMware, Cisco equipment, Windows server.
