About the Role

Kumbro Stadsnät is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Network Technician to lead and develop their active network. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as ensuring the network's security and performance in the Örebro region. The role also involves participating in the strategic development of future network solutions.

Main responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment.
• Optimize network performance and implement security updates.
• Troubleshoot real-time problems and work with routing, switching, and security.
• Participate in the design and development of new network solutions.
• Document configurations and guide the team as needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in active network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, network protocols, and security.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, etc.).
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP are a plus.
• A valid driver's license is required.
