Palmblad School Distance is a completely new initiative where we have received permission to conduct distance education as special support. As a teacher here, you will work on developing materials and conducting teaching both as distance education, remote teaching, and in some cases with elements of in-person teaching. You will be working with digital solutions.

This teaching position is a seasonal position and you will be employed under the collective agreement HÖK/AB.

Your Assignment

As a teacher in this position, you will teach in one or more of the following subjects: mathematics, Swedish, Swedish as a second language, English, biology, physics, chemistry, or technology. You will have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your expertise, knowledge, and commitment to ensure that students have a functioning school experience with the student at the center. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the educational work according to the curriculum and other governing documents to suit distance education.

We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operations. Together, you will work to ensure that all students develop based on their individual circumstances and to achieve a functioning school experience. Within the framework of the assignment, teaching within Lovskola may be included.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a teaching license or someone awaiting their license with qualifications to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, English, mathematics, science subjects, or technology in grades 7-9. We prefer candidates with experience teaching at the secondary level. Experience with technical aids such as smartboards and video editing is considered an asset. To succeed in this role, you need to have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and the primary school curriculum. The work requires you to have good oral and written skills in Swedish as well as good knowledge of Microsoft 365. It is an advantage if you have IT skills focused on educational work.

As a person, you are pedagogical and have an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you are a flexible person who can see opportunities in changes. This job suits you if you collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
