Raoul Wallenberg School Uppsala is a primary school for grades 6-9 with approximately 260 students and 30 staff members. Our school is located in the heart of Uppsala at Kungsgatan 18. We have a health profile at the school and see movement as a prerequisite for learning. Well-being leaders are responsible for organizing activities during breaks.

We are now looking for a teacher in home economics for teaching grades 6-9

Who are you?

We are looking for a skilled, driven, and engaged teacher who, like us, is passionate about making a positive difference. We place great importance on your personal qualities and that you are a person who, from the bottom of your heart, is dedicated to giving students a good start in life.

You are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach home economics. It is an advantage if you have additional subjects in your qualifications. You are a clear leader and role model who provides both teachers and students with the inspiration they need for good teaching and learning. With good didactic skills, solid subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to each individual student, you create the best conditions for each student to reach their full potential. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work.

You also see it as an exciting challenge to work together with our lead teachers and other subject teachers to develop the teaching in our schools into something truly special.

The position is a temporary contract at 80% until June 2026.

Start date is in early April 2025 or by agreement.
