Dedicated Care Assistant Wanted for New Assisted Living Facility
We are looking for a dedicated care assistant for a new assisted living facility focused on cognitive impairment!
Maglehill is a newly built district located in the western part of Höör. Here we have our newly constructed assisted living facility for individuals with cognitive impairment and dementia. The area includes residential neighborhoods, a newly built preschool, a primary school (grades 1-6), and a sports hall. The distance to the train station is approximately 850 meters.
The assisted living facility Maglehill opened in January 2024. On the first floor, there is Unit 1 with a green corridor symbolizing the forest and Unit 2 with a blue corridor symbolizing water. On the second floor, there is a yellow unit symbolizing light and Unit 4 symbolizing warmth – it is to this floor that we are now seeking more engaged staff, as one of our team members has chosen to work in another field.
Höör is located in the heart of Skåne, has good train connections, beautiful nature, 17,000 inhabitants, and a steady population increase. With around 1,400 employees, Höör Municipality is the largest employer. Many of our staff commute here.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We work with the individual citizen's sense of coherence. You will actively work during your shifts for the well-being of the citizen based on their daily condition.
You have an empathetic ability, work functionally and activity-supportively, and have a salutogenic approach. The needs of the citizen guide our work, which means that your attitude and engagement will be of great importance for how the days unfold. You are a team player!
The work involves standard care and support tasks within municipal operations, such as personal care, medication delegation, and actively documenting in our documentation and management system. We want to identify your personal strengths, commitment, and competence and utilize them by working with areas of responsibility and advocacy roles. What are you most passionate about in caring for individuals with cognitive impairment?

Something that is appreciated is the ability to organize your work together with colleagues, and we want you to take overall responsibility for the citizens residing in the unit where you work.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have:
- a completed care education at the high school level or equivalent and a protected professional title as a care assistant. Additional training in dementia, psychiatry, or other specialized knowledge is an asset. Experience in elderly care is also an advantage.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as good computer skills. It is a plus if you are positive about working with digital aids.
- a desire and commitment to shape and develop care for the elderly.
- the ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and to be responsive to the citizen's needs while being confident in your professional role. You are a team player!
- the ability to find solutions and opportunities in all situations of everyday life. You have the ability to organize your work and plan to work together with your colleagues.
- a drive to help build a new operation together with your colleagues!
OTHER
The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and that it does not need to be reserved for internal use.
