Teaching Assistant in Special Needs School

We are now looking for a teaching assistant who wants to work in a special needs school.

Description of the School

Vegaskolan is located in central Vännäs. The school has about 480 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as a special needs school up to grade 9. In the special needs school, students receive education and teaching tailored to their needs and conditions. Vegaskolan's guiding principles are knowledge, community, and diversity.

Your Responsibilities

You will work as a teaching assistant in a special needs school. You will be part of a team that collaborates closely with other educators at the school. You will be involved and contribute to the development of students and the organization. As a teaching assistant, you will support some students in a class in the special needs school with their education, social relationships, and care. In the afternoons, you will be part of and contribute to the special needs school's after-school program.

Qualified childcare worker or other educational training deemed suitable for the assignment.
