RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute teacher in high school, you will be responsible for conducting planned teaching for high school students. The teaching is based on the school's governing documents and aims to support the students' social and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for individuals with various experiences and backgrounds. Primarily, we are looking for you who are educated or currently studying to become a teacher. We also welcome those with other educational backgrounds or those who may not have much experience but are attracted to working with people.

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and enjoy collaborating with others. You have the ability to adapt to different situations and provide support where needed. With your secure presence, you will become an important adult role model for the students, recognizing their individual strengths and needs.

You build trust through your way of working and have a good ability to understand others' perspectives. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Education and Labor Market department is one of the municipality's largest administrations with about 3,000 employees. Our operations are spread throughout the municipality with approximately 35 primary schools, 87 preschools, 40 after-school centers, and four high schools. We work to ensure that children and young people have the tools they need to find their way in both the present and the future. We advocate for a holistic view and a coherent thread in development and learning from preschool through high school. A growing adult education program and a labor market unit focusing on those who need extra support are also part of the administration.
