Workplace Engineer

The Workplace department currently has about 15 team members responsible for PostNord's IT workplace for both administrative and production staff. The IT Workplace is constantly evolving, and we always strive for secure, reliable, and user-friendly services. In our work, we continuously keep an eye on PostNord's overall vision and strategies to ensure that the IT Workplace enables and supports the company's market positioning. We are now looking for forward-thinking Workplace Engineers who want to work on streamlining PostNord's future IT Workplace.

Responsibilities

In the role of Workplace Engineer, you will work with both internal colleagues and external suppliers. Communication is important for the role, which places high demands on language comprehension, including Swedish and English. The role involves, among other things, working with:

Design and Strategy:

• Collaborate with Service Managers and stakeholders to understand and support business goals.
• Recommend new technologies and industry practices.

Solution Consulting and Optimization:

• Lead the implementation of strategies and ensure standards are followed.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate solutions.
• Advise on technology optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

• Provide guidance and consultation.
• Translate needs into concrete technical requirements.

This position offers you the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a strategic and collaborative role to create a modern and efficient IT workplace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or technical interest in one or more of the following areas: Citrix, Intune & application management, Mobile Device Management, print management, Active Directory.
• A drive for improvement, optimization, and efficiency.
• The ability to work independently, drive tasks to completion, and effectively collaborate remotely.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management.
• ITIL processes and agile frameworks.
• Outsourced IT environments.
• Larger complex IT environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
