We are now looking for a dedicated and skilled nurse to join our team at Läkarbilen in Skåne. As of September 2024, Region Skåne took over the assignment of Läkarbilen in its own management. Läkarbil Skåne offers home visits to those who cannot come to our healthcare facilities for various reasons. We operate within the area of mobile teams and specialized palliative care under the new administration of Close Care and Health.

Home visits are ordered by the Mobile Team of Primary Care, ambulance services, municipal health and medical care, the Police, and the Migration Agency.

We perform all types of home visits, around the clock, every day of the year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at Region Skåne's Läkarbil in Skåne, you will be part of a dedicated and skilled team working to deliver high-quality care in patients' local environments. The mobile units are an important part of Region Skåne's home visit operations at the primary care level, providing quick and effective care on-site for patients in Skåne.

Your role also includes providing professional and empathetic telephone advice to our calling partners, thereby contributing to a positive reception and trust in the operation and Region Skåne. You will also actively work to develop and strengthen collaboration with both existing and new partners.

An important aspect is to contribute to operational development by coming up with ideas and solutions that promote quality, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Another important part of operational development is to work in a structured manner with patient safety. This includes managing, following up, and analyzing any deviations to identify areas we can improve in the operation. All with the aim of improving our routines and strengthening patient safety. In this work, we receive valuable assistance from the health and medical care strategist and our medically responsible physician (MLA).

The position is a fixed-term employment from January 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026. There will be good opportunities for the temporary position to transition into a permanent employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have several years of experience working in somatic care. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is a requirement. A B driver's license is also required, as the job may involve travel within Skåne.

The administration of Close Care and Health has existed since January 1, 2025. The administration is responsible for grant-funded care activities within close care. This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient care within close care, acute care within close care, 1177 by phone, and some region-wide functions. Additionally, the administration is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is expected to be around 1,000.
