Västra School is a school for grades 7-9 with approximately 540 students, centrally located in Falun. We are within walking distance to the theater, Dalarnas Museum, the City Library, and the World Heritage site in Falun. Job Responsibilities

You will teach Swedish and have mentor students. You will be part of subject teams and mentor teams that have regular meetings. In the subject team, you will have the opportunity to discuss and develop teaching together with a team of qualified teachers. Within the mentor team, you will have the opportunity to plan joint activities and have dialogue with other mentor colleagues in the school's overall work.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach Swedish for grades 7-9

Desirable Qualifications

• Current work experience
• Several years of experience teaching grades 7-9
• It is an advantage if you are trained to mentor student teachers
• Familiarity with applicable governing documents
• Good digital competence

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting 20260201 or by agreement.
