We are now looking for Healthcare Teachers for our school in Falun

Agila Institute VUX conducts adult education in several locations, including Falun and Västerås.

We have chosen to specialize in vocational training in healthcare and social care, where students are subsequently employed as nursing assistants.

We want you to enjoy your job, your workplace, and feel that your work is appreciated. Therefore, we build teams where everyone has an interest and knowledge of the needs of healthcare and social care.

We are primarily looking for skilled healthcare teachers with a teaching degree. If you do not have that, it is a requirement that you are a nurse with teaching experience and an interest in pedagogy.

The teaching covers most subjects in the healthcare and social care education. It is therefore a great advantage if you have a broad general competence from healthcare and social care.

We use IT daily, and good computer skills are therefore a requirement.

As a healthcare teacher, we want you to focus on knowledge, learning, and each student's knowledge development. We do not want you to spend time on administrative tasks. Therefore, we have skilled course administrators who work closely with you and take care of all administrative tasks.

Our course administrators are often trained nursing assistants and have very good knowledge of the profession. We believe that it becomes much more pleasant to work in a team when everyone has knowledge of the professional role as a nursing assistant.

We are looking for healthcare and social care teachers with excellent pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. You should be flexible, open, and have good collaboration skills. We place great value on your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring skills.

We are attentive to students' wishes and conditions and have a modern pedagogical model where we create an individual study plan with clear checkpoints. Here, teachers and admin collaborate to follow up on students' knowledge development every week. It is this work that ensures we have satisfied students who recommend our school.

We plan for the position to start in early 2026. We can offer full-time or part-time employment.

We apply a 6-month probationary period.
