About the position

The position involves you as a teacher/driving examiner for the upper secondary school planning, conducting, and evaluating driving practice and teaching in vocational subjects in the Vehicle and Transport program with a focus on Transport. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of workshops and basic service.

The role also includes responsibility for Workplace-Based Learning (APL). This role encompasses securing placements, visiting companies, and linking APL to courses and course objectives. In your role, you will also be a mentor for a number of students and be part of the joint planning and development work in the Vehicle and Transport team at the school.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher or driving examiner in vehicles and transport or has another background that the employer assesses as equivalent. The ability to conduct driving practice/training for licenses B, C, YKB, and CE is of great importance. We would also like you to have experience from both working in the transport industry and teaching at the upper secondary level.

You are engaged and have a strong interest in working with young people. We also place great importance on your ability to collaborate, flexibility, and professional competence. To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach.

We want you to be able to see the whole picture and enjoy collaborating with colleagues in the team to drive the development of pedagogical work forward at the school and within your program. You should have an attentiveness that allows you to meet each student based on their needs and circumstances, be creative, and solution-focused. It is important that you can build good relationships with both the students at the school, their parents, and your colleagues.

This is a permanent position for a qualified teacher at 100% with a start in the spring term of 2026. There is an opportunity for earlier access based on what suits best in the specific case.
