The medical clinic consists of six different specialties: Cardiology, Lung and Allergy Clinic, Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic, Gastroenterology Clinic, Rheumatology Clinic, and Neurology Clinic.

The team working at the clinic today consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, medical secretaries, biomedical analysts, and unit managers. The position as a nursing assistant means that you will start from a specialist clinic and rotate to another specialist clinic. This is to gain development and variation in the work but also to share everyone's competencies and raise the level of knowledge.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a nursing assistant who wants to help develop the operations together with colleagues, teams, and the nearest manager. You value a job characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and you contribute to a positive work climate. As a nursing assistant with us, you and your colleagues share a common responsibility to ensure that patients receive good, safe, and considerate care. To succeed in our mission, it is important that teamwork is characterized by responsiveness, planning, and communication.

Your responsibilities as a nursing assistant at the clinic include preparing patients for doctor visits, such as EKG length, weight, and blood pressure measurements. Furthermore, you assist in the doctor's office during procedures such as lumbar puncture, injections, liver biopsy, and rectoscopy. You are also responsible for maintaining equipment, sterilization, hygiene work, and ordering various materials for the clinic.

We offer development through individual areas of responsibility based on competence and interest, regular teaching sessions, and ongoing development projects within the team, as well as jointly set goals for our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. Preferably with a focus on emergency care/healthcare. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and basic data/IT skills are required. Furthermore, we consider it an advantage if you have previous work experience from a medical clinic. Additionally, we see it as particularly advantageous if you have experience working within the systems Melior and web-PASIS.

Please note that you need to attach certificates/transcripts (not just a diploma) from your nursing assistant training for your application to be considered complete. If you have received your certificate of protected professional title, this must also be attached to your application. You need to present proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed on July 1, 2023. If you do not have this proof, you will be employed as a care assistant, and the employment is temporary, pending the proof.
