The Social Services in Järfälla municipality is responsible for elderly care and disability services, individual and family care, as well as health and social care. The Disability Authority is part of the department for elderly care and disability services.

The area of the Disability Authority includes three units: Adult LSS Assistance Unit, Children and Youth LSS Assistance Unit, and SOL Assistance Unit.

We are looking for new colleagues with an interest in the LSS operational area. We are located in a so-called authority house within the Social Services and have close contact with caseworkers and social workers in other operational areas, which facilitates collaboration on common cases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main task is to investigate, decide on, and follow up on granted services according to LSS and SOL, as well as the National Travel Service Act. The work in authority exercise is varied, with meetings with clients and their relatives being one part, and documentation and development work being other parts.

The work includes contacts and collaboration with providers and other professionals, both internally and externally. You will be responsible for your own area, but we have a holistic perspective and work towards common goals, helping each other out.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in social work or an equivalent higher education. The role of a case officer requires you to be structured, flexible, and self-driven. You have good collaboration skills and personal maturity. You communicate easily in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the Lifecare operational system.

You have knowledge and experience of working based on the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We use IBIC as an investigation method, and it is advantageous if you have experience and good knowledge of it.
