Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will help and support the client with care services based on individual needs and wishes. You will assist the client with personal care, medical interventions performed under the delegation of a licensed nurse, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.

In addition to practical work, you should also be able to document events regarding the client and maintain contact with the client's relatives. The job includes providing advice and information as well as motivating and stimulating the client so they can manage to do as much as possible on their own. In your daily work, you will also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, care managers, and other home care groups.

The position includes evening work and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Nursing assistant training with proof of protected professional title (nursing assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from the employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant before 1/7 2023
• Ability to cycle
• Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form
• Experience using a computer as a tool and a willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with individuals with permanent disabilities
• Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry
• Knowledge of LifeCare, Flexite, and Senior Alert
• A driver's license

We move around by bicycle, so it is important that you can and want to cycle in all weather conditions.
