Fagernäs School

Fagernäs School is a primary school with about 150 students from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located about 2 km from Boden's center. The school has two leisure departments, Solgården and Örtagården. We have a large and beautiful schoolyard with, among other things, a football field, climbing frame, gagarink, zip line, and swings, as well as large open areas. In winter, there is an ice rink and ski trails, as well as large snow hills to play on. In the surrounding area, there are natural areas suitable for excursions and outdoor life year-round. At Fagernäs School, we are exploratory, value-creating, and interactive. We are full of hope for the future and work to ensure that every student develops trust in themselves and a high competence to meet future challenges. At the school, we utilize each other's knowledge and experiences. We believe in collegial learning and are interested in engaging with current research and development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The mission of the leisure center is to harness the students' desire to learn and develop. The activities are based on national goals and take into account the students' interests, experiences, conditions, and needs.

The mission involves, among other things, supporting the students' social and general development, expanding and deepening their knowledge and experiences, as well as offering meaningful leisure time. The students also get to practice democracy, influence, and responsibility in practice.

During the school day, you will work as a resource in the classroom.

Significant elements of the activities include play, movement, and creative work. The leisure center also collaborates with the preschool class and the school for the students' best interests in a holistic perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained leisure educator or resource educator, but other educational backgrounds are also of interest.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are self-driven, responsible, have good collaboration skills, and see opportunities in each child's individual development. You have the ability to create and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are flexible and solution-oriented and can easily adapt to the needs of the activities. You are cheerful and positive, and you see challenges as something interesting and developing.
