Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Bodens Municipality! We have a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues that concern our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools. Brönjaskolan is a 7-9 school in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden city center, with about 250 students. Brönjaskolan has three working teams organized by grade and a well-developed and unit-based student health service. The student health team consists of a special educator, school speech therapist, study and career counselor, school social worker, and school nurse. Brönjaskolan also has a safety team consisting of safety coordinators and safety resources, who actively work to create relationships, safety, and a conducive study environment for our students. Our focus areas are increased goal achievement through higher student attendance, as well as strengthened reading and writing skills across all subjects in school. We have a good outdoor environment with a basketball court, football field, and sports hall, as well as the forest at our doorstep. With that said, we want to welcome you to our team! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to teach mathematics and science in grades 7-9. In this year's allocation of duties, this means technology and science, but the distribution of subjects may change for the coming school year.

Teaching will be your primary responsibility. You will also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive, and feel safe.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach science and mathematics. Qualification to teach other subjects is an advantage. Even if you have other pedagogical competencies or qualifications in mathematics and natural sciences, you are welcome to apply.

We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Otherwise, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work.

Your pedagogical and social abilities make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also skilled at creating good learning environments and conveying your knowledge to our students. You have good experience working with computers as tools in educational activities.
