Regnbågens Preschool is now looking for a preschool teacher.

Regnbågen is a preschool with six departments, one of which is a minority language department. The preschool is beautifully located by the Vassara River with a view of Dundret.

Working in preschool is a challenging, exciting, and creative job in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams.

In preschool, we meet children in their first education and lay the foundation for lifelong learning, and you as a preschool teacher are important.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, your main responsibilities will be:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching that promotes children's development towards the curriculum goals.
• Support each child in their individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child's learning.
• Participate in the development work of the organization and contribute to realizing our shared vision.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an educated and licensed preschool teacher.

As a preschool teacher, you should be responsible and have clear leadership in the children's group. You easily create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Engagement, solution focus, flexibility, innovative thinking, and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we highly value in our work.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A police record extract is required, which you can request from Polisen.se. The certificate and license must be presented before employment.

The municipality of Gällivare is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish according to the national minority language law. Knowledge of any of these languages is an asset when applying for a position in Gällivare municipality.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent position 100%, starting from January 8, 2026, or by agreement.
