Our Offer

The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The Health Center Kärna is located in Malmslätt, a comfortable cycling distance from central Linköping. We are a health center with about 40 employees, representing both long and solid experience, mixed with colleagues who are newer to primary care, complementing each other in knowledge and experiences. The health center has about 11,700 registered patients and provides complete primary care. We are also an Academic Health Center, which means that research and development are a significant part of our operations. The health center has high research competence with several PhD employees.

Job Description

We offer a varied and stimulating job with telephone advice and outpatient work. You also have the opportunity to run your own clinic within a specialty area in which you have further education, or we can offer competence development within one of our specialist areas. The work involves both independent work and close collaboration with other professional groups.

About You

You are a licensed nurse and/or further educated as a district nurse. If you have an interest in diabetes or are a diabetes nurse, it is an advantage, but not a requirement for the position. It is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care.

You have good initiative and the ability to make your own decisions. You work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You communicate clearly. You are secure and stable and have well-founded and clear values that you base your actions on. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and take responsibility for your tasks. You also easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. We place great importance on personal suitability.
